A study by Real Estate
Infolink analyzed 2,772 properties sold in California and found that
staged homes sold for 6.3% over list price and sat on the market an
average of 13.9 days; non-staged homes sold for only 1.6% over list
price and took an average of 30.9 days to sell. For a $300,000 listing,
staging would bring in $18,900 above the asking price, versus $4,800
above the asking price, had it not been staged.
